The Drummonds of Megginch are a cadet branch of Clan Drummond seated at Megginch Castle in the Carse of Gowrie, Perthshire. The family preserves a run of heirloom cloth in the Megginch sett — an 1849 Edinburgh kilt, an earlier 1820 plaid, a Victorian child's kilt and a 1997 reweave — the dated, shade-varied attestations from which the Drummond of Megginch design is reconstructed.
