- undated — Carrick District Tartan Tartan Number: 1389. Earliest known date: c.1930 The Ayrshire Earldom of Carrick is associated with two major families, the Fergusons and the Kennedys. The tartan was designed for Councillor John Hannay by Arthur Galt of Messrs Hugh Galt & Sons, Girvan. There is also a Carrick Green sett.
