Alberta

A tartan of the Alberta family.

Its design is pattern GKRKBKY — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.

Designed 1961 for the Edmonton Rehabilitation Society's disabled handloom students; officially approved by Alberta's legislature.

The Alberta tartan groups 4 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
