Carnegie Dress

A tartan of Clan Carnegie. Its design is pattern GGRGRGKRWRWRW — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.

Dress version with white substituted for a ground colour, by Edinburgh kiltmaker Hugh Macpherson for dancing and informal wear.

The Carnegie Dress tartan groups 2 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
