MacInroy

A tartan of the [MacInroy](/families/macinroy/) family. Its design is pattern [KGKRBRBRGK](/stripes/kgkrbrbrgk/) — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.

Recorded in the pattern books of Wilson's of Bannockburn, dating to 1819.

The MacInroy tartan groups 2 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
