MacDougall
A tartan of Clan MacDougall of Lorn. Its design is pattern WBRGRGRBBRBGRGRBRBRW — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
Complex clan sett, earliest documented in the Highland Society of London collection, signed by the chief around 1815.
The MacDougall tartan groups 4 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
