MacFie
A tartan of Clan MacFie. Its design is pattern GRGRGRGRW — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
Clan tartan dating to 1906; MacPhees held Colonsay until the seventeenth century, serving as hereditary Keepers of Records to the Lords of the Isles.
The MacFie tartan groups 2 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
