MacTavish
A tartan of Clan MacTavish. Its design is pattern WKWBRW — the page of every tartan sharing this colour sequence.
Thomson sett (Thomson being anglicised MacTavish); came into use around 1950, some versions substituting black for the mid-blue stripe.
The MacTavish tartan groups 3 setts — the same named design recorded as different cloths (its kilt, Carpet, Child's…, or a transcription apart). The master sett (★) is the exemplar.
