    The Mackellar Dress sett was originally designed by AA Bottomley of Peter MacArthur's. The colours of this version have been changed (presumably by DC Dalgliesh of Selkirk) to produce a Dancers' tartan.

    Sett source given as A.A.Bottomley who was Alfred Bottomley of Peter MacArthurs - a Director and designer. Colours have been changed (presumably by D C Dalgliesh of Selkirk) to produce a Dancers' tartan.
