This sett appears in Paton's collection. The samples are undated but the collection is known to have been put together around the 1830's, with some additions during the Victorian period. This count has been halved for display purposes. See King Edward VII #502 (#1559, original Scottish Tartans Authority reference) which is the same sett but with an extra black line in the blue. Note in Dalgety Archives from Margaret McDougal of Inverness Museum - same as Holmes, Family. Thought to be this one that she was referring to. - pre 1830 — Holmes (Clan) (tartans-authority, record)
