    The New Providence tartan was designed by Alden Dalzell, Carrie Eaton and Marilew Rudisill for the New Providence Presbyterian Church, Maryville, Tennesee, founded in 1786. It was woven and constructed by Motherwell Crafters (Alden and Fran Dalzell) is based on the Graham plaid. It was dedicated on Heritage Sunday, 15 October 2000.
