Produced by the Guilde des Tisserandes de Lachine this complicated asymmetric sett is typical of Quebec weaving tradition. Lachine is close to Montreal on Lake Saint-Louis and historically occupied a strategic position on the fur route as a departure and arrival point for trading expeditions.
