See #5120 (original Scottish Tartans Authority reference) for comments. This sett shown here from 'Tartans' by Johnston/DSmith 1999 is significantly different from #5120 (original Scottish Tartans Authority reference). Correct one not known at this stage (17.11.02). - 1990 — Greyhound Grenadiers (Corporate) (tartans-authority, record)
Worn by the Statesville, Georgia Pipe Band at Grandfather Mountain Games in 1990. "Provided several years ago by a Scottish weaver who assured them it would be reserved as their exclusive design." Not sure of the significance of this comment - it suggests that it may have been given to someone else or was prevciously a fashion sett. Count from the Johnston/Smith troligy. An alternative design was recorded at 5120 but is suspect.
