Bennachie is a prominent range of hills in Aberdeenshire and the Bailies are individuals who are 'stewards' of the hills. This tartan is a vehicle for attracting funds for conservation and was designed by Blair Urquhart of The House of Tartan and it incorporates the colours of the hill in winter.
