  • 1930 ish — Vipont (White line) (Name) (tartans-authority, record)
STS notes: This count comes from a sample in the MacGregor Hastie collection. He is said to have obtained it from J.Wright of Edinburgh who apparently designed it circa 1930 for the Vipont family. STS now own the sample. This is at odds with the quoted slog of RGK : YKG given in STS Nomindex which gives yellow as the second pivot. For the time being, assumed to be 'Name.'
