The Devon Rural Skills Trust was established in 1980 with a view to preserving traditional rural skills while the men and women who had practiced them were still alive and able to pass them on. Tartyan Society notes say this was used 'in tailoroinmg' prior to 1990. Threadcount tripled for clarity.
