Designed by the late Don Smith (2002?) of Heraldic Graphics, Glasgow for Steven Bryan Madewell of Oklahoma USA. No significance to the design or colours. May be worn by anyone of that name or its many variants. 'Madewell' originally came from Northamptonshire, England (c 12th C) and travelled to the Colonies (USA) in the 17th C, one branch settling in Maryland and the other in north Carolina.
